I have a Blendtec and I love it! There's a night and day difference between smoothies made in the Blendtec and smoothies made in my previous (cheap-o) blender.

My only complaint is that the Blendtec struggles a bit with thick hummus and nut butters.

We were in between a Blendtec and a Vitamix.  We went with the Vitamix.  We love it, but our only complaint is the noise.  It is a very loud blender.  However, it does blend very well.  Green smoothies no longer feel stringy to me.

We have a Ninja http://www.ninjakitchen.com/products/5/master-prep/6/ninja-master-prep/ because that's what Publix had when we were blender shopping. I haven't used the smaller processor yet; I use the pitcher to make smoothies and Cathe's Better Than Ice Cream. When I freeze big chunks of frozen food for the ice cream, for example, I have to thaw it enough first so that I can make it go around the blades which stick straight up the middle but that isn't too much of a downside.

May God bless you and His Blessed Mother Mary keep you!  :-)

Absolutely love love love my NutriBullet. I only make smoothies for myself so it is the perfect thing. Highly recommend it to everyone.

I have a nutribullet and it's great for smoothies. Mixes much better than my cheap blender but it didn't break the bank either. I really, really, really want a Vitamix but that's not in the budget for now.

I have a vitamix because my father in law gifted one to us. I would never have spent the money on one on my own, but that sucker knows what its doing. Smoothies are easy. Making tomato sauce is easy. If it needs to blend, the vitamix can handle it.
