5/1  -  35 minute run 

5/2  -  allergies too bad - couldn't take it

5/3  -  65 total in the gym - treadmill and elliptical

5/4  -  took home cooked food to my college kid for exam week

5/5  -  70 minutes walking/jogging with hubby ----just couldn't run with the congestion

5/6  -  uh....my ear drum ruptured last night.  So I took a pass today

5/7  -  120 minutes dug holes, ran the tiller, raked - garden time!   but the pollen did me in

5/8  -  80 minute walk

5/9  -  100 total minutes.....25 walking - 75 in the gym, shoulders chest abs arms

5/10-  nothing

5/11-  nothing

 

 

470/1500 looks like that is my 4 days this month already off....oops.  Might have to revisit my goal

1 mile right after sunset = 20 (fastest mile I've walked this year! as it got darker)

10 minutes walking at sunrise (my foot started to hurt and I was tired so I stopped halfway through the mile)

50 minutes of cleaning - I'm counting that because I was walking most of the time, almost out of breath at some points, plus it's too hot to walk outside

740 I'm so used to run that now that I'm walking, I want to run lol. I went grocery shopping by myself for the first time in months, and I ran there but then I had a very heavy backpack so I was gonna walked, but I couldn't help myself and ran a few minutes, but with the heavy backpack I started having knee pain so I stopped.

So excited to be there already! Last month I ended up with this and we are only half way through the month this time around!!! I don't know if I'll exercise tomorrow, DS and I are most likely going to the Bayou Boogaloo, a music festival on the bayou! So there'll be some walking, we'll just see if I get any intense training in the morning (or in the evening).

4 miles walked around the house + 1 more lap; I almost walked a fifth mile but my sore left leg told me to stop.

lab, I'm not sure why it hurts. If it was from the 6 miles on Sunday, I think it would have hurt yesterday instead of waiting until today. It's better now as long as I don't walk around too much. I walked another mile after dinner:

 

1 mile ~ 30 minutes + 1,580 = 1,610/2,000

It was good to take time off from intense work-out, I was sore just riding the bike! I'm being bad tonight though, drinking some beer :P

CM - does it hurt when you first wake up?   Plantars fasciitis occurs when you do too much too soon.  If you increase your intensity or your distance too quickly...the muscle in the back of your heel hurts.  This muscle goes under your foot all the way up your calf.   When you sleep at night and the muscle is slack - it complains in the morning when you start moving around.   

After you walk or work out - roll the bottom of your foot out on a frozen water bottle.   All this advice is hinging on the fact that the bottom hurts!   I hope it isn't the top of your foot.  That might be a sprain....

 

5/1  -  35 minute run 

5/2  -  allergies too bad - couldn't take it

5/3  -  65 total in the gym - treadmill and elliptical

5/4  -  took home cooked food to my college kid for exam week

5/5  -  70 minutes walking/jogging with hubby ----just couldn't run with the congestion

5/6  -  uh....my ear drum ruptured last night.  So I took a pass today

5/7  -  120 minutes dug holes, ran the tiller, raked - garden time!   but the pollen did me in

5/8  -  80 minute walk

5/9  -  100 total minutes.....25 walking - 75 in the gym, shoulders chest abs arms

5/10-  nothing

5/11-  nothing

5/12-  nothing

5/13-  60 minutes garden work

5/14-  75 minutes brisk walking

5/15-  30 minutes sculpt

5/16-  45 minutes walking

5/17-  100 minutes cardio and weights

5/18-  nothing

5/19-  40 minute run   FINALLY

5/20-  80 minutes total - nice easy run then brisk walk with my friend on the high school trails

5/21-  50 minute trail run....all running!  YAY!

It doesn't usually hurt when I first wake up unless that foot was on top of the pillow when I sleep on my side with a pillow between my knees. (even then it doesn't usually hurt) Yes, it was on the bottom of my heel; it's better today. Thanks for your concern though and for teaching me. I definitely slowed down my walking - am walking less - after reading that an increase can cause pain.

 

2 miles of walking around the house and yard plus 1/8 mile to the mailbox ~ 55 minutes

55 + 1,610 = 1,665/2,000

 

1 more mile before dark

1,665 + 25 = 1,690/2,000

 

Just ten more days with at least a half an hour each to go :)
