It's July Y'all!!! Who is up for an Exercise Challenge?!?!??!?!?!?!
Hello!
This thread is dedicated to encouraging a workout. ANY type of workout. Hopefully this thread helps to keep you accountable and continuing to work out the entire month. Whether your idea of exercise is walking the dog, walking, running, cycling, cleaning the house or simply moving - go for it! And then come tell us!
Do we need a minute count to join in? My big goal right now is just doing ANY exercise every day. I'm more concerned with the routines/workouts that I pick out to do each day than with how long they take me to do but I can do an estimated minutes thing if that's how the challenge works.

@crazyms Welcome.:grin: I make a goal to move everyday. I know basically how long, but it doesn't matter so much to me. So just record that you moved:wink:
Yay! Thanks. I'm working to be more active and make it part of my routine. With 3 homeschooled kiddos it's easier for me to "workout" in short bursts throughout the day than it is to do a long exercise routine. It all adds up though! I'm just happy if I manage to get moving

I'm still trying to get back on track. I have noticed that after a hard month (or hard week even), the next month is slack.
7/1 - 35 minute run
7/2 - 120 minutes walking
7/3 - off and jet lagged
7/4 - off!
7/5 - off
7/6 - 30 minute run - I swear it was all I could manage
7/7 - 55 minutes running and stretching

The OB/GYN said on Monday that I can ride my exercise bike (I asked instead of just riding it because of all that happened in June "down there" with the UTI, almost-surgery with a 19 cm cyst that was really my bladder, and a catheter) and she said yes.
7/2 about 30 minutes of walking
7/3 cleaned + 10 minutes of walking = about 30 minutes
7/7 15 minutes riding my exercise bike

07/09 - did my morning walk and yoga about 20 min. We're about to go on an afternoon walk though and I hope to do a little more this afternoon. The weekend starts tomorrow and we'll likely be going hiking or walking more this weekend.
7/11 Gardened a little. No walking again today. Maybe I'm coming down with something? It is not like me to sleep late :shrug Oh well. I think that I will start again on Monday.

07/11 - I did nothing today. Dh is home so I woke up with a whole family here wanting to do something for the day. We went out for a bit but no real exercise for me today. Tomorrow isn't looking much better. Oh well Monday will be back soon
