July '17 Exercise Challenge

You're welcome to post whatever exercise you do each day. You don't have to post every day, and you don't have to post the number of minutes or hours. This is just a place for you to record your exercise, however you want to do that, and be motivated to get moving and be healthier. If you have time and you want to challenge yourself, you can set a goal and try to reach or surpass it.

Here are some ideas in case you need them to get started or if you need to add some variety to your exercise routine:
sweep the floor, porch, deck, sidewalk, etc.
walk up and down the stairs on rainy or snowy days
play catch with your child(ren)
kick a ball around the yard
throw a ball for your dog
walk the dog
take the trash out to the curb/road
ride an exercise bike (if pregnant and/or if the weather's bad)
ride a bike in your neighborhood or to work, or the library
swim in an indoor pool
nest (clean the house)
rake leaves
pick up sticks in your yard
vacuum
How much walking around the house can you do while filling up boxes of stuff to donate, dusting, vacuuming, throwing out trash, etc.?

Hello ...
tried posting last night & suddently "no internet" ..; but i didn't notice until i had pushed the "post quick reply" button so my post disapeared in the great universe .
7/1: morning jog + barbell exercises
7/2: registered for a 5 km sponsored walk ... but went with a friend in a car & we parked sort of half way & ended up walking at least 10 km
+ barbell exercises (am glad am only targeting the arms and shoulders at the moment .... since lower body rather tired last night !)
7/3: morning jog + barbell exercises
= feeling up todate & "on tracks" so far ...

7/4 : 30 min run with running buddy + 6 barbell exercises
7/5 : 30 min run alone .... need to un-pack shopping and go do the barbell exercises sort of now, instead of procrastinating (DD1 high school diploma results should be available on line in a little bit more than 30 min = i certainly do NOT need to wait in front of the computer now ...)

- she's got it
- i did the barbell exercises

Hi there, i'm still alive !!! just went away for 2 nights & 3 days (NO computer & my phone doesn't do internet ... well, it should, but i don't know how to operate that, i'm fine just doing SMS and the odd call on my cheap plan ) ... i'm getting addicted to my daily barbell exercises in fact ... i had withdrawal symptoms !!!!!

well ... i did manage some sort of exercise whilst i was away ...
7/6: no early morning jog since i had a VERY early train to catch ... BUT i walked A LOT (at least 10 km ???) PLUS i found a few machines in a park and did two types of arm exercises, even in my short skirt and sandals ... plucked the courage to ask some joggers stopping by to use some of the machines to take a few pictures with my phone, lol ....
7/7: only walked with my cousin during the day = shorter distance and not as fast ... but borrowed two bottles in the evening and did my usual lot of exercises ... the bottles were not as heavy but it was better than nothing in any case
7/8: hardly any walking today BUT did 8 types of exercises with my own barbell in the evening !!

DD1 is being picked up at 5:25 am tomorrow so i'm likely to walk with her to the meeting point ... and then jog from there ...
now, i WAS going to go to bed much earlier but it turned out that we sort of HAD TO print our boarding passes now since there'll be 5 of us travelling (before she goes away with her ID document) for our trip in 2 and a half week ... and now i no longer feel sleepy ...

7/9: early morning 30 min jog + 9 types of barbell exercises today
(now considering buying some barbell during our holiday, using them then gifting them to our host after our 12 days stay .... am really hoping that a 2.5 months of daily practice WILL make a difference in the definition of my arms ...)

late afternoon over here ... BUT i managed the Barbell exercises too !
(+ yesterday, contacted online someone selling some velcro on weights .... where i'll be on holiday in a little while, hoping to buy a pair, used, for not that much money .... then leave them behind ... am addicted !!!)

I was a ball of fire and fury. !!!!

My daughter is hearing impaired and is trying to take her foreign language for college. It is hard to learn a foreign language when you can't hear! They refused her accommodations as required by federal law. The 3 hour drive at 5 am was tough...but my sweet girl was glad I was there. It was 4 professors, administration and department heads all on her. They are never too old for mommy to come to the rescue! She will be 22 in August. and she will still overwhelmed!
