As of this morning, I have lost 27 lbs.
About a month ago, I started shedding.
Some days, it has ALMOST been like post baby hair loss. (well, in the shower at least)

I know this can happen with poor diets, but I *thought* I was eating well.
AND have been taking a vitamin every day.
It may have slowed a bit this week. But I may also be wrong on that. I DID lose a lot in the shower.

Is this just a weight loss phase?
I have read that it usually occurs when someone reaches 20 lbs lost.
Will it slow not that I'm almost out of the 20's?

Usually the hair loss results from losing weight too fast, and a poor diet. Because the B vitamins in the body are being depleted. You might also want to consider having your thyroid checked to make sure that it is not what is causing your hair loss.
