I would love to know scriptures for Christmas, it can be really long or not. I would love for it the be in the NKJV Bible but ESV is fine too. I read both of them, we go to a great church and are going to have Christmas sermons up untill Christmas. Our preacher said that. I would love to read some of these to my kiddos, so please tell me. I am a new user so don't think mean about me, this is my first "topic" or whatever y'all call it.
The 2nd chapter of Luke is the Christmas story that is usually read.
Matthew begins with the genealogy of Jesus, actually the genealogy of Joseph, Mary's husband.
Mark begins with John the baptizer and the beginning of Jesus' ministry on earth as an adult man.
John is more abstract and less of a story as such: "In the beginning was the Word and the Word was with God and the Word was (the same as) God." etc.
Hope this helps much . Different versions of the bible have the same stories in more or less different words.
