Wow. That's so funny. To me it looked like a hollow tree that a wise old owl would sit in.

lol Well that could work too in a way. It is all about the feminine, etc.

UU'er here!

**strange afterthought - I've always strongly been pulled to the Jewish faith (I grew up Catholic in a predominately Jewish town - I was the only non-Jew in my neighborhood!) I just remembered that last night I had a dream that I was converting to Judiasm. I woke up so peaceful. how strange that this poll is here this morning...)

I chose Christian-Protestant even though we don't have a specific denomination. I think we have the most in common with progressive Mennonites.

mara: I'm so glad I'm not the only one who thought so many people here were such strong feminists they put vaginas in their siggies!!

I don't fit with any religion, although I suppose because I believe in Christ as my Lord and Savior, that I must be a Christian. However I do not attend any church because I find that i disagree with so much that goes on in a church. I do read the bible and find so many contradictions between what churches teach and what is actually told in the bible. I'm at a loss

I voted Christina and Pagan. I am technically a Christian, but I am so far removed from the modern christian thing they call church. My practices are way more in line with Pagan. Love the earth, view God/dess and neither/both male and female. We practice alot of balance with the seasons and cycles of nature, the turning of the wheel.
I also believe in Jesus, I just don't think that this is what he had in mind! :

BTW, I had totally never thought )O( = vagina! i always saw the moon. And now I am sitting here thinking of vaginas.

Totally changed MY perspective ladies! lol

"other"- I have deeply held spiritual beliefs taken from many religions/ spiritual teachings.

When I first saw )o( I thought it was a vagina- then I thought "it must be a Pagan symbol for the moon or something"

Christian Seventh Day Adventist here!

I thought )o( was a mouth blowing a kiss at first (two cheeks and a puckered mouth) and then thought it was a vagina but then thought a vagina would look more like this (l), then I saw that it was symbolizing the moon phases in paganism.
