Some background:  I am single.  I live with my parents but they eat really early at around 4 PM, I do not get off from work until 5:30 and do not get home most nights until 7ish because of the gym, etc.  Also, they tend to eat really unhealthy foods and I am being really careful to eat better and take better care of myself.  So for that reason, I don't eat leftovers from their meals.

I would like to start cooking some on the weekends and freezing individual portions to take out and put in the fridge before work so I have a healthier alternative to frozen, processed meals.

Any suggestions for meals that will freeze well?  Bonus points if you include recipes!  I am making a big shopping trip tomorrow to stock up.  Thanks in advance!

There is a FEED THE FREEZER thread here in Meal Planning that is 4+ years old and 680+ posts long.  I'm sure if you check it out, you will find a lot of great ideas (with recipes) in addition to whatever people post here.  winky.gif
