I'm trying to figure out which seaweed(s) have the highest iron content. I've been trying to use my google-fu to find a chart or something that lists the mg's of iron...with no luck.
Hijiki has the highest at 55mg of iron per 100 grams
iwanori is next at 48mg of iron per 100grams
I just realized aonori is higher at 74 mg of iron per 100 grams, but it is used as a garnish so can't see how you would consume anywhere near 100 grams of it.
This is from a book on my shelf, sorry don't have any links.
