i agree. with the right balanced diet one can get enough of everything from food - except b12 and Vit D. plant based food that is.
there are people who have cut out fat from their diet for many years. not just a new 5 year thing. but for the last 30 years. including pure raw foodists who have never had any hot food pass their lips for the last 20 years.
the latest celebrity that i know who has cut out all fats is bill clinton.
the point is we really should be eating way little fat. for instance dd cant cut out fat completely coz she eats butter based things like cookies, etc. but her fat intake has gone down a lot to an extent that if she comes across too greasy food she cant eat it.
i think one can live with little fat and lead a healthy sedentary lifestyle. however we are overdoing fat.
and honestly we dont need so much fat.
