Any thoughts on whether it is safe to eat the yogurt that was in maker for 2 days? I usually cook for one day to get rid of all the lactose but is it unsafe if I forgot it for two days?
yes it is safe.it is the live cultures that keep it safe.
however it might be too sour and might have a 'soda-y' taste - so you may not be able to eat it. you could use it in cooking though.
