Let's talk cookies and sweets! This year I plan to make the following -

Sugar cookies (so Little Man can help decorate)

Russian teacakes (husband's favorite)

Snickerdoodles (my favorite)

Spritz

Chocolate chip cookies

Peanut butter balls

If I find the time, I may even pull out my rosette iron and make a small batch of rosettes. Actually, I think I will. It's a treat I remember quite fondly from Christmas each year when I was a child, and I want Little Man to experience that too.

I want to keep it fairly simple and likely won't make all of them:

sugar cookies

gingerbread cookies

shortbread cookies

gingerbread cake

apple cake

That reminds me - I have to add soft molasses drop cookies to my list. It wouldn't be Christmas time without them!
