I love the idea of the crockpot, but I can't seem to get a good meal out of it. I don't know what I'm doing wrong, but the cold weather has me wanting to try it again.

What tips can you give me for getting food to taste good in the slow cooker? Do you have any favorite meals to make in one?

One of the things we made that I was able to eat was a simple chicken and rice dish.

any kind of stew is great in a crock pot, like beef stew, curried chicken, chili, etc.

The easiest I do is throw some chicken in with BBQ sauce on low for 10-12 hours.
How did your stuff not turn out? Under or overcooked or not enough flavor? There does have to be enough liquid for everything to cook evenly IME, and dried herbs work better than fresh usually because the flavor is more concentrated.

Green Food Drink

I’ve been trying to eat healthier and have found that quick, easy fixes aren’t
always available. Time has been a massive struggle for me and I seem to put my
health last whenever I’m rushing around. The one thing I think which has helped me
the most is having a green food drink on a daily basis. It’s super fast and I don’t
have to have a fridge full of veggies that go bad if I don’t have the time to juice.

I finally found an organic one, which is super important because the chemicals in
the non-organic ones defeat the purpose of trying to be healthier. I love it and
find if I add in a splash of OJ it’s the best. Have you guys used it, if so how do
you like it? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WyC8Fuk9AGA I think it would go with
any juice, but have only tried OJ.

Super excited to here what you guys think!
