Is it more of an aesthetic thing or is there a greater advantage at owning one over the other. We'd like to get a water filter and are currently using a brita, which i would like to do away with ASAP.

I think the one thing that bothers me about the berkey light is the plastic. Does plastic still leach anything, even if it BPA free?

Some people can pick up a taste difference in stainless steel. We got the big berkey because I prefer metal to plastic, I wish we had gotten the Imperial though it would be nice not to have to refill it so often.
