Hi Ladies,

Just wondering if you can give me your recommendations on what brand of yogurt starter that can be found in grocery stores?  I've used Dannon in the past and it's been fine, its just that it's losing steam (my batches seem to be getting more sour and more watery).  Thank you!!!!!!

Lots of yoghurt does this after successive batches. I just go out and buy another batch as starter when it gets so sour that my DH complains (usually a few months, and we make yoghurt more than once a week).

thank you.  I'm relatively new to yogurt-making and I wasn't sure if it was something I was doing or could do differently. Appreciate the input!
