Water filter needed, what kind?

I would like to buy an under - counter water filter. What kind is recommended? Which kind of filtering system is the healthiest?

Thank you. One question though: I understood that RO removes everything from the water, including the good minerals. There is no mention of that on the website. Is this the case with all RO filters?

It was my understanding that that is the case with all RO filters. I don't remember all the details from my research but when I went through links looking I decided to go with the Berkey water filter. I really love it and the water tastes great. There are quite a few size options and that's the only complaint that I have. I wish now I'd have gone with a larger one but I do like ours.
