Okay ladies, Mike wants to make pasta and he is having a tough time finding whole wheat durhum pasta flour. Does it exist? What else can he make noodles out of? Rice noodles or another grain would work too.

We always use semolina flour--it's higher in protein and a little coarser than regular flour. It makes for a good texture. We called the nearest grain mill to get ours, but you can also order it online. Or if you want to pay an arm and a leg, you can buy it by the pound at a health food store.

Yes, its really expensive unless you buy it in bulk. I get a mix of wheat, spinich and something else in bulk and its a little cheaper than the packages.
