Yes, "Crock Pot" is just a brand name for a slow cooker.

heres one for ya... turn crockpot on low....put in one pack boneless ribs and two cans chioken and rice soup. let simmer all day,when done boil up some additional rice poof!!! DINNER
it is yummy every time
