would like some recipes for teething bisquits and those baby snack bars/granola bars...like the ones made by earth's best.

would prefer vegan recipes, or at least mostly vegan. I don't really want him to have any dairy for a while.

Although we aren't vegan yet, we are gradually changing over to a vegan diet and it would be easier if we don't have to wean him on that stuff too (hard enough to do it ourselves)

We have a health food store here, but it is literally about 4 times as expensive as the stores in KC and I am having a really hard time paying for something when I know it shouldn't cost as much.

These are for people over 9mths old.
Rolled oat biscuits.
2 cups of finely ground oats
3tsp baking powder
1tsp salt
3Tb veggie shortening(spectra brand has no hygrenated oils)
6 to 8TB water.
grind oats. Mix oats with baking powder and salt. Cut in shortening. Stir in enough water to make a stiff dough. Pat out into 10 rounds and place on baking sheet. Bake 10 to 12 minutes at 450 degrees. Cool and store in an air tight container.

Not exactly a teething biscuit but a good snack. If I remeber anything else I post it.
