To make your own brown sugar is it just sugar and molasses? How much sugar to how much molasses? Thanks!!!

According to the More-With-Less Cookbook, it's 1 cup white sugar to 2 tablespoons molasses. You can store it covered just like brown sugar. I usually just eyeball it, erring on the side of too much molasses. I figure sugar is so unhealthy, the least I can do is get the trace minerals out of the molasses.
