hi there

I am in desperate need of a simple cake recipe. I have to bring a cake to a tea party on thursday and the only cakes I can make are carrot cakes and apple crisp pie. I think its about time I learn another type. haha.

Thanks for sharing your favourite and simple to make cakes. (please no chocolate cakes as I abhore chocolate).

Reason I say simple is because I have a toddler underfoot and am 8 mos pregnant...dont want to spend all my time standing in kitchen, and toddler can help me with stirring the mixtures.

thanks
stephanie

Does cheesecake count?

This one could not be any easier!

1 (8 oz) pkg cream cheese
1 (8 oz) container of whiiped topping
1/3 cup sugar
1 premade graham cracker pie crust

Cream together cream cheese and sugar until smooth. Fold in whipped topping. Immediately pour into pie crsut and refridgerate until set (about 2 hours).

Top with fresh or preserved fruit. Yummy topped with fruit pie filling

Hi MarchMom,

Here are some examples of one you would be able to make with what you have available in Germany - Becherkuchen! No chocolate and no measuring!

Viel Spaß dabei!
