Hi-
so, i am looking for a crock pot recemdation, but have no idea about crock pots.
I am looking for- reasonable- under 30 would be great-
easy to clean
be able to set the temp. so we can make yogurt
isnt an energy hog,
and finally- will last.

Any heads up on your favorite one or a place to go, let me know.
thanks

i read on some crock pot site that buying an old used one is better- the new ones just get too damned hot (mine certainly does- a rival, the big one). no way could you do yogurt- if you find one that lets you set a temp, let me know! i have never seen that as a feature. (i think they made 'em hotter to make them 'safer' as regards food poisoning, no doubt some gov regulation- i wish the 'nanny state' would let me make my own decisions about vax and food temp, as examples!)
