I have a recipe from the Linda McCarty book which calls for 1/3 pound of quinoa.
Well, I have quinoa at home but no weighing scale!
So, if you happen to own both of the above, can you do me a big favor and help me find out exactly how much quinoa is 1/3 pound? just approximate in cups will do, much thanks!!!

Hey, I have that book too, and was just checking that recipe out today, sounds yummy. I dn't have a scale, but I wouldn't worry, just make enough to serve however many people the dish is supposed to serve. My guess is one cup since I use jars for my bulk quinoa that hold about 1 pound. I love quinoa the best when first dry-roasting it in a frying pan. Let me know if you like it!
