Help I am looking for simple recipes, traditional foods for Chinese New Year that kids can make without much help from Mom.

hey! lazy me, what year is this? (hmm, water horsie son last year, dragon year before... that's about where i lose track, buffalo, tiger-me &dd!- cat/rabbit-dh- dragon, horse... rat? snake?) i guess i could think better if i knew what we were celebrating, lol- no rat, thanks! (altho' I saw this thing on foodtv in china, &... never mind.)
