Just curious if any of you know of a good probiotic supplement for kids? I'm still nursing my youngest at 12 months, so she's good but my older boys (3 and 5yo) could really benefit from a supplement (although I can sometimes get kefir into them) -- any recommendations?

Thanks --

I use chewable acidophilus w/bifidus by American Health. It does say "not intended for use by persons under 18", but my HFS told me not to give them the full amount which is 3 tablets a day, I give them just one. It is blueberry flavored and they LOVE it. DS tells me " Mama, I gots the tummyache, I need acidophilus."
The bottle has 120 tables for about $9.00.
It is milk free, also.

I use Udo's Choice infant probiotic. It's a powder and can be mixed with anything. And re: your nursling, he might benefit from it too. My DS had yeast issues and I took probiotics with no results. He got much better with direct probitotics. HTH.
