My family is getting tired of eating the same stuff all the time so I am looking for new recipes. I like to get recipes from other families rather than cookbooks. Please share your favorite recipe or two whether it be for breakfast, lunch, dinner, dessert or snack. Please include a list of ingredients and prep instructions. Here are two of my family's favorites.
Popcorn - 1/2 cup popcorn popped in the air popper. Top with a little bit of melted butter and nutritional yeast to taste.
Broiled Salmon with Lemon Dill Sauce - Take salmon steaks fresh or thawed and sprinkle them with black pepper. Broil on medium for about 5 minutes on each side more or less depending on how you like your fish. For the
sauce:2TBS vegenaise or mayo
2TBS lemon juice
1TSP dijion mustard
3/4 TSP dried dillweed
Mix together in a small bowl and serve on the salmon steaks.
I like to serve this with steamed brown rice and a fresh green salad.
