I love yellow squash, zucchini and tomatoes all steamed together, with a bit of garlic. Yummmmmmmm!!!

I love green beans and corn as well.

This summer we've been living on salads all most everyday, with different ingredients added.

The other day was shrimp and manderin oranges, and yesterday was grilled chicken w/ raspberry vinagerette dressing.

There are too many to choose from, I love veggies way more than fruit.

I like broccoli, peppers, raw and roasted, nothing better than roasted bell peppers imo.
Asparagus, carrots, aubergine, courgettes, spinach, bea nsprouts mushrooms which I could eat with every meal and of course onions which I add to everything.

I soooooo miss good, fresh corn on the cob... you don't get it here (we get it in the supermarket. Commercial supersweet varieties, picked a few days ago, already shucked and wrapped in plastic. It ain't pick-your-own or greenmarket corn, for sure.)

Favourite: onion! Good on its own and makes everything else taste better too. And potatoes. I LOVE potatoes. Baked, mashed, fried, latkes, kugel, boiled Jersey Royals with good butter, pommes dauphinoise, fresh hot chips with garlic mayonnaise, a nice slice of potatonik...

also, tomatoes (pref. cooked), red & yellow peppers, carrots, cabbage (mmm cabbage, DH's most hated food ever).

Eggplant parmesan is delish, DH won't touch it. DH also won't touch anything green and leafy (heathen). I'm picky on the green & leafy: hate regular creamed spinach, had garlic creamed spinach that was divine. Generally speaking, either it needs cheese or someone else has to cook it HATE broccoli. Peas only if tiny.

I love swiss chard, but it has to be the kind with the red stems.

And fresh spinach!

And sweet peas. I am growing three different kinds this year, that I may have a crop of peas till the vines freeze.

I love all kinds of veggies, but my all time favorite is fresh sweet corn in the summer...it has to be pale yellow and white and make a certain crunch when you bite into it....oh, and with lots of salt and butter!

Every single one of them! Especially asparagus (heaven, nice and crisped in olive oil), artichokes, every mushroom known to man, edamame...and I never met a pepper I didn't love at first sight!
