Is there an easy way to make a fruit puree that will stay good in the fridge for several days? I use them to blend with plain yogurt for dd, but I don't want to have to get out the food processor every time.

I make a big batch of fruit puree and freeze it in ice cube trays. Then you have a single serving anytime you want. I just defrost it in the microwave for 1 minute on 50 percent power. It works out really well.

Yeah, I would freeze it or make it into an all-fruit style jam.

would adding a small amount of lemon juice help preserve it? i don;t really know but it sounds like it might work. i like the idea of freezing cubes though.

Oh... duh. I can't believe that didn't occur to me! Thanks.
Does it stay thick, like if I wanted to stir it into yogurt?
