microwaves seem weird & just not right, but i don't know the actual reasons why eating microwaved food is "bad". can someone explain? does it nullify nutrients? for that matter, does freezing? i would have starved those first few months without a microwave and i am embarrassed to admit that i still rely on it more than i feel i should. so i make up for it by making lentil & fresh vegetable stews often

I wonder about this too. My acupuncturist said that microwaves deplete the qi (energy) in food. I agree, they seem "not right " to me too, although I do use mine (but as little as possible).
