With the girls eating lunch at school every day, I'm kind of in a rut for planning healthy lunches + snacks for 2 snack times, that stay fairly stable in a lunch box (with ice pack) or a thermos. What are your favorite lunches and snacks?

tortilla rollup - whole wheat tortilla w/ nut butter & honey rolled up...
yogurt cup w/ granola to put on top
tostada - I spread refried beans on a shell, melt cheese on it and put whatever toppings I have around the house on top. DD doesn't mind that its not warm by the time she has lunch...

hummus sandwhich
bean dip w/ tortilla chips for dipping

pasta salad - tricolored pasta w/ italian dressing, cheese, olives, and whatever else I can find to throw in...

cereal w/ milk once in a while...

we just started pre-k so, so far it's been the same everyday, except one day.

peanut butter and banana sandwich on grain bread
cheese
apple sauce/fruit

i put leftover chicken in one day cut into squares........he ate it. i love the idea of bento boxes, but i'm definately going to stick around to see what others say. i don't like the frilly stuff, i'd rather the whole (easy) foods.
