Don't know if it will help, but it won't hurt.

It's not very MDC of me, but I used the Mylicon a few times and that seemed to help.

I was told to drink fennel seed tea. 1 teaspoon steeped in a cup of tea. You can also give this to the baby in the form of a few drops, like 5-10 drops from an eye dropper. It worked for me! I have a three-week old and I'm dealing with the same thing, and I don't know what to eat, what not to eat, etc. It's tough!

I don't know about the tea, but I do know that cutting out dairy could help tremendously.

My dd went through a phase of that too. Every evening: Fart cry fart, cry fart cry, the poor thing!!

I started drinking fennel tea and it seemed to help, but I think in the end she just grew out of it after a few weeks.

a nurse suggested fennel tea to me too, and also just getting fennel seeds (you can get them at health foodstores) and chewing on those and adding them to your salads and stuff... or making a salad dressing with olive oil, balsamic venigar and crushed or whole fennel seeds. fennel itself can be helpful too, if you like it.
i think chamomile can be helpful as well, it seems like my son had less gas when i drank it (i just drank it coz i like it and its calming), it seems like he's more gassy now that ive run out

catnip tea would actually be a better choice!

I crushed a teaspoon each of fennel seed, anise seed, dill seed, and cumin seed and added some ginger syrup and drank a cup when I woke and one before bed. It was TREMENDOUS the difference in my baby. My husband would MAKE me drink it so he wouldn't have to hear the baby scream! And I had to cut out dairy.

You could try some Gripe Water too.

I had horrible heartburn when I took Fennel Seed capsules and I can't stand the smell of it. Chamomile tea I love though!

Just remember that it is a sedative (stronger than chamomile).
