I want to try taking tumeric to relieve some digestive issues. Is this safe to take while breastfeeding an 8 week old?

yes turmeric is 'safe'. however you have to watch how your baby handles spice. watch out if she has any reactions. that goes for any food that you dont eat regularly. just watch and see.

I take it but my child is much older. Try a lower dose and work your way up to a higher one. This may help your LO get used to it. Its used abuntanly in Indian cooking and those babies handle their mothers milk just fine.
