It seems like my son just went through his 6 week growth spurt and now at 9 weeks he is nursing the same way he did then. I feel like my breasts are always empty, he eats about every hour and as soon as he wakes up from a nap. I worry that he is not getting enough to eat because my breasts always feel empty but he isn't overly fussy and doesn't seem upset when pops off after a feeding. I usually have tons of milk (it's coming out my ears) but my DS slept for 7 hours straight the past 2 nights with out waking up to nurse and I wasn't engorged, very unusual because I usually become engorged after 3 or 4 hours at night.

Is this my milk supply evening out? What is going on?

Thanks for any ideas!

If baby is happy more or less and you are nursing often than I would guess that it is your supply evening out. You arent taking any new meds or herbs that could be affecting supply are you?
and drinking plenty of fluids and still getting enough rest???
sometimes, when mom is feeling a little more herself she gets busier and then supplys can be affected so watch it.
