I was diagnosed on Monday with mastitis and am just now starting to turn the corner and feeling better. In the meantime, my supply has tanked. I am getting about a third of what I used to when I pump and DS has reduced his wet dipes so we are now supplementing with my freezer stash after he nurses.

Has anyone been in a similar situation and had luck in getting back to normal? I am on the hunt to find more milk plus capsules tomorrow to see if we can get my supply back.

Mil production does often decrease after mastitis, it is a healing period for the breasts. It doesn't mean it is forever though. I've had some moms bounce back within a few days, others say it was more like a couple weeks. Hang in there. hug2.gif
