She is supplementing a 1/2 oz until her milk comes in. She's got all the consultants there. But, what about when she comes home? I *know about LLL. I saw on my site they are available by phone. Not having nursed yet, will that be enough? I should just make sure she has a number for LLL?
Ditto! Maybe "So that's what they're for" or Dr. Sears Breastfeeding Book.
Why is she supplementing, may I ask? Babies only need colostrum until your milk comes in, although I know sometimes there is a delay in milk coming in. Just curious.
are they separate from LLL? I think there's a practice *I'm considering with one....I have to ask her if there's one in her practice....
She's working with LC's now....I think to help him go to the bathroom? a 1/2 oz and the whole supply thing. I know about the colostrum, he's jaundiced as well, I'm not sure if *that's a reason. I'm not so sure myself.
; She's also pumping! We didn't talk long. She was trying to pump and poor Hudson was crying in the background.
