We're seeing a dentist this week I hope. I noticed one of my daughters teeth looked yellow last week and finally two days ago got a closer look. Almost all the enamel has peeled off the tooth. She's had a couple of face plants in the last month and it's possible she fractured the enamel. This happened to another friend of mine. She suggested it's not decay yet.. just the yellow dentin showing.
I would assume breast milk would be fine still as per all the many studies I have read. Do you all agree?
We are being super cautious about brushing many times a day and I found the tip of brushing her while lying in my lap is SUPER. She loves salt, so I've been rubbing the wet brush on our salt lamp and she now loves having her teeth brushed. Given that salt water rinses are supposed to be good... I figured a little salt on the brush would be similar.
Anyhow just looking for some reassurance. I cried last night thinking I could be hurting her and felt like such a bad momma for letting her teeth get bad!
