I noticed a minor plugged duct last night. This is my second with this baby because she's very busy in the day and doesn't always nurse at a consistent frequency. Anyway, the plugged duct got worse despite nursing all through the night. Today I tried a hot shower to express some milk and a I squeezed a milk blister up. THEN (TMI!) I tried to loosen it and I pulled a big strand of milk fat out - so crazy!! Then milk just gushed out - wow! Thought I'd share...

Yea, it was so crazy!  It was like one duct totally full - just so nutty. I even felt really tired after. Live as a mom can be so primal at times. Bleah.

With my first I always got plugged ducts and milk blisters, but I never had anything stringy.  On kellymom.com it mentions that it can happen, though.  Is it really weird of me to kinda wish I had seen it?  blush.gif

No, not weird - unless I am weird for thinking I should have recorded it and put it on Youtube. dizzy.gif
