Forgive my blunt title but that's what it is - a Q about my ds' poo (who is almost 7mos). This past week we've been giving him organic non gmo brown rice cereal. Then I slipped in a few tiny pieces of these organic freeze dried banana and apple bit later in the week. Then yesterday we tried another form of brown rice cereal with pre & probiotics, DNA in it. Before I would just ad a drop of vit D and some baby probiotics (abc biotics) to the plain cereal. Also, Ive tried mushing about a teaspoon or less into his cereal. I did that 2x in the past 2 days. So this morning he has a nice sized BM with lots of brown black squiggly things in it. They look like tiny worms!! But nothing was moving. Could it be the banana? I will be calling his ped but since theyre closed, I decided to see if anyone here has experienced anything like this. Also, I took pics so if you know a thing or 2 about this and would like to see them, I'll try to pm you. Thanks for any advice!

You could try giving DS one food at a time to see if there is any reaction going on. It's hard to tell since it sounds like you mixed it up with him. Sounds like there's something he'e not fully digesting. Just make one change at at time and observe for a couple of days before you try something else.

We figured it out. It was the banana! We realized it looks just like what banana looks like when you bake banana bread. Lol Sorry if that's TMI. We did only introduce brown rice cereal with breastmilk at first but he was so interested in what I was eating which included bananas so I thought banana is soft and mushy why not give it a try. And I thought since I added some probiotics that would help with the digestion. But I never thought of the freeze dried bits. I think we'll hold off on those a little while longer if it's not digesting properly.
Thank you for your feedback.
