My son is almost 2 and a half, for number of reasons I have cut his nursing back to 1 time a day from 3 times a day. He hasn't been happy about it and has needed lots of holding and cuddling. He does not cuddle normally at all. Well tonight I had to be out at bedtime and when he woke up he didn't ask just missed me. Have to be out again tomorrow so does that mean we are done? If he asks the next night do I let him after 2 nights of not. What's easiest on him. I wasn't actually planning on eliminating the last session for another month since we were traveling and I though it would give him comfort.

Fun loving crunchy mommy to an amazing outgoing adventurous boy named Logan Cloud 2/2/07 and our little ball of energy Jayden Edge 11/28/10 and wife to Jet 7/3/05 expecting our third 09/21/14

I would just follow your heart. Nurse him as long as he wants to nurse if possible...that's what I think. Good luck finding the answers in your motherhood/breastfeeding journey.
