Here is my story:

-baby is 12 weeks old
-nursing in demand
-once a month since he was born like clock work I feel: feverish, massive headache , right breast hurts (no redness or lump)

The first month I went to the er because it was a weekend. The ran blood test, took chest X-rays, urine sample and a physical exam. It was treated as a uti even though the test came back negative.

The second month I went to the clinic of course by then (two days later) felt fine. They tested my milk came out negative.

So it's all an unsolved mystery. Health care isn't cheap and its tough to get seen. Anyone else go through this and did they ever figure out what is wrong?

It sounds  a little bit like you are starting to get mastitis and then you nurse through it and it resolves? You don't have your cycle back yet, right?  Have you tried hot compresses and lots of Vit C when it first starts?
