I am the breast feeding mother of a 10 month old, and I suffer major bouts of what I can only describe as brain fog.   I went to my midwife who ran blood tests and told me I was fine, and just "tired".  I know this is not simply tiredness and found a small amount of information online that indicated breast feeding a brain fog are linked, does anyone have experience with this or know how to help it get better?

Do you still nurse a lot at night?

Yes! As a matter of fact my baby's sleep is getting worse. She is up 5 plus times a night! I think it is teething and separation anxiety. We bed share so its not too bad, we nurse momentarily and she's right back to sleep, still I feel utterly sleep deprived some days. What is odd though is that I have days where Im tired but no brain fog. The brain fog seems to come in waves. I read in one thread that brain fog is connected to progesterone levels somehow but nobody elaborated on that. I feel like that would have been something my midwife pointed out.....
