Before I get too excited. I just found out that my insurance will cover 100% cost for a pump from one of the 5 providers (online store, medical supply). What type of information will they ask for?

My midwife services will not be covered by insurance for this pregnancy. They are lay midwives and I will need to pay out of pocket. If they will need a script for the pump am I out of luck?

Any experience?

Thanks.

Call your insurance or the pump provider and ask what is required. If you need a prescription, could you get one from your regular doctor? It shouldn't matter what kind of doctor writes it.
