I've got a question... I caught Lyme disease and I'm breastfeeding. I'm taking antibiotics right now, the ones you can take while bf, but once I'm rid of the lyme, I want to get rid of the antibiotics left in my body, too! We're thinking about another baby and I want my body to be as prepared as possible.

So I'm thinking about detoxifying, e.g. with herbs, but is that safe during breastfeeding? Won't the toxins end up in the milk? Any safe suggestions?

I remember one reason for not loosing weight to quickly postpartum is for not to many toxins to end up in the milk all at once. Do you know about alternatives?

What makes you think antibiotics are going to harm your pregnancy?

Thanks for asking! Well, I see them as a toxin and I would like to have as few as possible in my body before getting pregnant. They're not exactly harming the pregnancy, I guess, but they're harmful in general and a pregnancy is tough enough on a body.

I see. Just curious. I don't know much about detoxing, but good luck!
