My little guy has his first cold he is 4 months old and ebf. I know his nursing will help him get healthier faster but I have heard that beast milk can be used in other ways. Such as up his nose to loosen mucus, in his ears to prevent an ear infection and in his eye to help with crusty. Had anyone tried these do they work? Anything I am missing? I haven't tried any yet looking for feedback thanks!

I've definitely heard this as well and did the breastmilk in the nose trick with my kids when they were babies. In fact, our doctor seemed to recommend breastmilk for so many uses (what you mentioned, sore nipples, cuts, rashes, etc.) that my husband and I still have a running joke that whenever we ask the other one for advice or are trying to come up with a solution to some problem (regardless of topic or relevance), we'll automatically say, "put a little breastmilk on it."

Haha that's funny!

Yes OP I have used it when my baby had goopy eyes! I also used it behind his ears bc his one ear would always get cracks behind it and look like it was infected... It would always look better after I cleaned it off and put bm on it. I haven't tried it in the ears or nose though but It seems it wouldn't hurt to try! I have heard it helps with ear infections! I think I have one now maybe I should use it on myself lol but I hate pumping and it would be awfully hard to squirt it in my own ear! Lol 😋
