Breastfeeding While Pregnant

My DD is almost 8 months old, and I just found out I'm pregnant. Is there anything I should know? I'd like to bf past a year...
I eat all the time now. I feel like I'm starving after she feeds. But I'm guessing that's normal.

Congratulations on your pregnancy! I have not experienced this myself but I have heard that it can cause your nipples to be very sore and it can also decrease your milk supply due to the high levels of progesterone you are producing. But many women manage to nurse all through pregnancy and then tandem nurse afterwards. Here is a link to some info on Kellymom.

Yes, be prepared for sore nipples and drop in supply. After the first trimester, my supply seems to be better. But in the beginning I was worried because my DS was hardly wetting diapers.
Its a challenge, but you can do it. Don't stop drinking water or something healthy and hydrating either. I found a recipe for "labor ade" but I'm planning on drinking it throughout my pregnancy just to help me stay hydrated.

Thanks I've read up on it some, and tandem nursing. I'm game if DD is. I haven't noticed much of a drop yet, but yes they are sore :/ not too bad, but still not nice.
I'm sure nursing her as my belly grows is going to get interesting.
A lot of DH's is surprised I'm still breastfeeding her, so I'm sure they will be shocked when I keep going. Lol.
