Public BF in Poland, airplane
We are going to visit family in Poland for 2.5 weeks, leaving next week. I asked my aunt and grandmother about public BF, but since it's been decades since either has BF, and even then it sounds like it was a hassle and only for three months, not sure how much to go off their view.
They are not aware of any laws in Poland one way or another about breastfeeding in public, but they do not like the idea. However, they claim that there does seem to be public dialogue about this and women on the pro side are to be found.
We will be staying at a hotel, and DD is only 7mo, so it's unlikely that I can just nurse her before leaving and wait to nurse her again when we get back (this was my relatives' suggestion). However, she also isn't doing well with napping out and about, so we may very well need to make short trips out so as to accomodate her naps, and that way we could just wait to nurse at the hotel.
Does anyone have any suggestions or insights?
I'm also wondering about nursing in the airplane. DD is very distractable right now, doesn't tolerate a cover, and hasn't been sitting still for a full nursing session lately. How should I prepare to nurse her on the plane? It's an 8 hour flight.
