I was coming by this board just to see if anyone had posted this link yet or not. I heard this story on NPR this a.m. and they did a GREAT job! Imagine that if women in England nursed their babies just 6 mo longer on average than they normally do, the rate of breast cancer would drop 5% (1000 cases). WOW!

This is especially meaningful to me since my mom is a breastcancer survivor...

Great article~thanks for the post!!!!!! I just wish health care practitioners would pass this info. (along with all the other reasons to bf) along to their patients during their pregnancy!!!!!
