I am pumping for someone and I have a fever and sore throat. does anyone know if the live virus can get passed through my milk and actually make my baby or her baby sick?

thanks

According to the Womanly Art of Breastfeeding the virus won't be transferred through your breastmilk although the antibodies will be--which is a good thing. I would however recommend washing your hands religiously while pumping and touching things that the baby will touch.
