In the past few days, Lauren has become super impatient with waiting for my milk to let down. She'll suck for 10-maybe 15 seconds before getting mad. She's fine once my milk lets down. It's a battle to get there though. She'll suck for a few seconds and get mad. Then I have to calm her down. We'll go through that 10 or more times before she can get my milk to let down. She just won't get a good suck pattern going. Then the longer it goes on, the more stressed I get, which makes it take longer. Please tell me it's just because she's going through a growth spurt, and it'll stop soon. I'm going crazy!

Nope, no bottles or pacis. She does suck on her fingers now, though.

Have you tried hand expressing until letdown and then having her latch on? Maybe that would help with her frustration. Isn't it amazing how babies are absolutely in charge of their mamas? If anyone else ever acted so impatient with me, I'd tell them to get lost! But one look at one of my babies and I'd do anything to make them happy! Good luck!
