I've eaten oatmeal at times when my supply seemed low, and it does seem to work. But I have no idea why!

I don't know, but oatmeal is also good for digestive problems, just like reglan, domperidone, fenugreek, blessed thistle, marshmallow, fennel...

Weird, I had never heard this. I do know I eat a huge bowl of oatmeal almost every day (done this for years) and I have more milk than I know what to do with. Maybe a connection? 7 months and I still have overactive letdown and I leak like crazy if my ds does not completely pig out. I still have to wear breast pads and I still soak my sheets most nights... Maybe I should cut down the oatmeal!

I have wondered this myself. I also eat oatmeal and granola type things a lot because I like it. And I have a very healthy milk supply.
